For childcare
The things keeping you up at night.
Families go elsewhere, places sit empty, and the paperwork waits for the evening.
- Nobody finds us when they search.
- The big providers get named first.
- Places sit empty for weeks.
- Enquiries sit in an inbox nobody opens.
- The enrolment pack sits half finished.
- We pay for apps nobody opens.
The room set before drop-off What changed
People stopped searching. They ask an AI.
That machine now drafts and answers for a service too. Get AI Working exists to get that machine working for services like yours.
-
Then: you had to be in the list
Somebody searched, scrolled a page of links, and rang whoever looked closest. Every service listed was in the running.
-
Now: one service gets named
Google writes the answer itself and the AI assistants name a service or two.2 Most people never scroll.
-
What to do: be the name in the answer
Build the listing, the pages and the answered reviews a machine can check, inside the ownership rule no other page carries.
Sources + notes
Asked to recommend a local business in two Blue Mountains towns, an AI assistant named none at all.1 Location is what families weigh first and the quality rating last of eight.5
New South Wales makes showing your ownership structure on your website a condition of provider approval, on an item that commences by proclamation.3 Nearly half the Blue Mountains’ services are run by a provider with nothing else in Australia, against about one in five in Penrith, where nearly half belong to a provider running 26 or more.4
Xplor and OWNA already automate waitlist offers and tour follow-up, so whatever yours does comes off the scope.6 Every clearance is checked against the register, not sighted on a card.7
No photograph, film or recording of a child goes on anything we build.8 For the youngest age group, children on waitlists outnumber the places offered, a figure the ACCC itself says may be overinflated.9
- Measured by us. Two questions put to an AI assistant on 25 August 2026 for a Blue Mountains business: asked for the best agents in the Lower Blue Mountains it named two franchise brands and no local firm; asked who to use to sell a house in Glenbrook or Blaxland it named no local business at all. One catchment, one day, two questions: a shape, not a benchmark.
- Verified. Google’s AI features documentation, 10 December 2025: “There are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, nor other special optimizations necessary.” The four things that get a page quoted are a controlled study of 252,000 trials, arXiv:2605.25517; our Get Found page carries it in full.
- Verified. The Education and Care Services National Law (Victorian Schedule, Version 027 as at 5 August 2026) and the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Act 2010 (NSW), both read 5 September 2026. Schedule 1 item [1H] substitutes s 19(2)(d), making it a condition of provider approval that the provider “must take reasonable steps to transparently demonstrate the approved provider’s ownership structure” on its website, its other digital content and in every advertisement; item [1I] sets the s 19(4) penalty at up to AU$34,200 for an individual, up to AU$516,600 for a large child care provider and up to AU$172,200 otherwise. The commencement qualifier travels with every sentence stating that duty: item [1H] commences by proclamation, and the proclamation instrument itself was not found. Section 172(1) requires the rating displayed so that it is clearly visible from the main entrance, a duty about the premises rather than the website, and since 3 August 2025 s 194EA of the family assistance law makes provider approval and continued approval turn on twelve matters including any relevant rating level.
- Measured. ACECQA, the National Registers, New South Wales services export at acecqa.gov.au, last-modified 28 July 2026, parsed 5 September 2026 and re-measured to this catchment on 8 September 2026: 6,139 services, ten of them holding the Excellent rating, and 2,125 in the thirteen councils of this catchment, one of them holding it. Provider size is counted nationally: 29 of 61 Blue Mountains services belong to a provider holding exactly one service nationally (47.54%), against 41 of 188 in Penrith (21.81%), where 92 of 188 (48.94%) belong to a provider holding 26 or more. Penrith City Council runs 40 approved services and Blacktown City Council 33; Blue Mountains City Council runs none.
- Verified. Productivity Commission, A path to universal early childhood education and care, inquiry report released 18 September 2024, read 5 September 2026. Volume 2 Figure 5.1, sourced there to ACECQA with 4,026 respondents and fieldwork in 2021, prints location and accessibility first and the quality rating eighth of eight; Finding 8.2 records that families are usually unaware of or do not value ratings against the National Quality Standard when choosing between services. The same volume quotes the ACCC: a median of around 2km travelled to a centre based day care service in major cities, and most families unwilling to travel more than 15 minutes.
- Verified. Xplor Education’s MyWaitlist (ourxplor.com/waitlist-childcare-management-app/) and OWNA (owna.com.au/features/childcare-crm/ and /features/), both read 22 September 2026. Xplor: “Automate reminder emails and create email templates for offers and confirmation”, “send reminder emails and create offers that automatically expire”, and automated tour confirmations and reminders. OWNA: “set up automated reminders for follow-ups, tours, and re-enrolments” and “configure automated responses” to enquiries, with email and SMS campaigns to keep waitlisted families engaged, and “Automate session submissions, invoicing & billing”. Neither vendor’s own page claims a missed-call auto-reply.
- Verified. Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 No 51 (NSW), read 5 September 2026. Section 9A(3) treats a worker’s details as verified only where they accord with the working with children register as at the date the record is made, s 9A(4) requires the record updated within 5 working days of a clearance expiring, and s 9A(5) requires it kept at least 7 years after the worker ceases child-related work. Section 9A(6) makes failure an offence at up to AU$11,000 for a corporation and up to AU$5,500 otherwise, on the NSW penalty unit of AU$110.
- Tested and not established. The National Law as enacted in Victoria carries a Part about personal devices and images of children in education and care services. The New South Wales consolidation of the Application Act, searched 5 September 2026 for Part 6A, device and image, returned zero occurrences of each; s 4(2) provides that a Victorian amendment does not apply here until a New South Wales regulation applies it, and no such regulation was searched for. Two government sources give different penalty figures, so no device penalty figure appears anywhere on this page.
- Verified. ACCC, Childcare inquiry, Final report, December 2023, released 29 January 2024, read 5 September 2026. On waitlist data from large centre based day care providers, 0 to 2 is “the only age group where the number of places held by children on waitlists exceeds the number of places offered”, with the ACCC’s own next sentence that the proportion “may be somewhat overinflated due to this age group being more likely to be on multiple waiting lists”.

What is in it - Get Time Back
The paperwork off your evening.
Eight services, measured on the hours a week you get back.
- Stop typing it twice
- One screen that shows how the business is going
- Your spreadsheets turned into one proper system
from AU$2,490
What is in it
The AU$499 starter does the two things every service needs first: your Google profile done properly, and every family asked for a review inside the rules. Spread the payments over 3, 6 or 12 months, interest-free, depending on the size of the work.
A bundle is scoped before it is priced. If Xplor or OWNA already works your waitlist, we are not paid to do it again.
On a quiet website the Sell More bundle carries adverts in their feed instead of adverts to past visitors, because Google needs enough visitors before it will show those. Why

Why us
Six reasons owners pick us.
A local practice that builds in your accounts, hands everything over, and tells you straight.

We set you up, and it’s yours
We set it up in your accounts, hand over every login, and teach you to change it. You don’t pay us forever.
We pick what fits
No packages. We pick the few things that will make the biggest difference, tell you what’s not worth it, and what you can stop paying for.
It costs less to start
Start from AU$499, with the price in writing before we start. Three months’ support included, then optional at AU$99 a month.
We’re where you are
We’re local. We sit down with you in your business, and you can always reach a real person.
It moves fast
Most things are set up in days or a few weeks.
Someone to ask about AI
Not sure who to ask about AI? Ask us: we’ll tell you straight, and we can set it up.
Included with every paid engagement
One hour with us, in person, on the AI you actually want to ask about.
A free workshop on Claude Code or Codex, for you and whoever you bring. Everything we build afterwards sits on it.
Ask what you actually want to ask
Whether it will replace you, what it gets wrong, what it costs to run. No question is too basic.
Say what worries you
Customer data, staff, the law, sounding like a robot. We go through each one with your business in front of us.
Set the goals for the engagement
The hour a week you want back, the enquiry you keep missing. Written down, then measured.
Learn to drive it yourself
By the end you can ask the machine to change your website, redraft an email or rerun a report.

Questions
What service owners ask before they book.
If yours is not here, ask it in your free hour.
What New South Wales asks you to put on your own website
Your ownership structure, and it is a condition of the provider approval rather than a marketing preference: s 19(2)(d) as substituted in New South Wales requires reasonable steps to demonstrate it on your website, in your other digital content and in every advertisement, at up to AU$34,200 for an individual and up to AU$172,200 otherwise.3 That text sits in the consolidation in force at 1 July 2026 on an item that commences by proclamation, and the proclamation instrument was not read, so the qualifier travels with the duty every time we state it.3
What this page leaves off about children, and why it is left off
No photograph, film or recording of a child, and no family’s words about a child, goes on anything we build or anywhere on this page. The personal-device and image rules exist in the National Law as enacted in Victoria; whether and from when they apply in New South Wales was searched on 5 September 2026 and not established, and two government sources give different penalty figures, so we leave it alone rather than guess.8
Where the quality rating actually counts, and where it does not
Families rank it eighth of eight and the funder reads it first: on the survey the Productivity Commission reproduces, location ranks first and the rating last,5 while s 194EA of the family assistance law has since 3 August 2025 made provider approval turn on twelve matters including any relevant rating level.3
Whether your enrolment software already works the waitlist
For most services, yes: Xplor’s MyWaitlist and OWNA both automate waitlist offers, reminders and tour follow-up on their own pages, read 22 September 2026.6 We build around what your software already does, not on top of it twice.
What it costs, and what you get for it
Any service on the menu is bought on its own, or together as a bundle from AU$1,790 or AU$2,490. The figure is in writing before you commit a dollar, and it is built in accounts you own.
Who owns the accounts, and what happens after
You do: everything is built in accounts under your own passwords, and whatever we build is yours. Three months’ support is included, then it’s optional at AU$99 a month.
